It’s all here at the Exchange!

Medical

The Exchange offers a quality health care program to meet your needs.

There are two types of medical plans:

  • Open Choice PPO plan (network)
  • and the Traditional Choice plan

Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) are also available at various locations throughout CONUS. The Exchange pays 70 percent toward the cost of the premium.

Dental

We offer a comprehensive dental plan when you enroll in the Open Choice or Traditional Choice medical plan.

HMO participants are also eligible to enroll if the HMO does not include dental coverage. Associates may choose the dentist of their choice; however, when you receive dental care from a network dentist you’ll pay less for your care.

The Exchange pays 70 percent toward the cost of the premium. Stand Alone Dental is also available.

Flexible Spending Account

Regular full-time and regular part-time associates may elect to enroll in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account, where money must be used for out-of-pocket health care expenses. Associates may also elect to enroll in the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, where money is used for qualifying out-of-pocket daycare expenses for eligible dependents. Associates may elect to enroll in one or both accounts.
