what it invests in: Normally invests approximately 60% of assets in stocks and other equity securities and the remainder in bonds and other debt securities, including lower-quality debt securities, when it’s outlook is neutral. Investments in lower-rated securities involve greater risk than other debt securities, including the risk of default. The fund will invest at least 25% of total assets in fixed-income senior securities (including debt securities and preferred stocks). The fund may invest in securities of domestic and foreign issuers.
