Throughout this website, there are several opportunities to
download and view Microsoft documents and presentations. Below is a
list of the potential file formats available for download and
directions on how to download and view them. Look for these icons
near links to determine what client software is required to view
those downloads. AREA offers these links as a service to our users.

To View MS Word Documents (.doc)
If you do not have the full-version of Microsoft Word installed on
your computer, you can use the Word Viewer (3.86 Mb) to view and
print Word documents exactly as they appear in the full-version of
Word. With this viewer, you can view page layout, zoom, outline,
headers and footers, footnotes, and annotations.
To View MS Excel Spreadsheets (.xls)
If you don't have the full-version of Microsoft Excel installed on
your computer, you can use the Excel Viewer (3.81 Mb) to view and
print Microsoft Excel for Windows (versions 2.0 and greater) and
Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh (versions 2.2a and greater)
spreadsheet files.
To View MS PowerPoint Presentations (.ppt)
If you do not have the full-version of Microsoft PowerPoint
installed on your computer, you can use the PowerPoint Viewer (2.82
Mb) to view and print PowerPoint presentations exactly as they
appear in PowerPoint. With this viewer, you can see animation,
graphics effects, action settings, hyperlinks, and custom shows.
