Packages
There are two Corporate Sponsorship packages available to the
military resale supplier community, as shown below, through AREA's
Annual Marketing Program. AAFES senior management is furnished
copies of marketing materials sent to AREA members and their
supporters. You'll be put on our mailing list to receive your own
copies.
The sponsorship period is one year, to coincide with our
convention planning process. The convention itself is held at a
different location each year.
The members of AREA present these objectives for the Corporate
Sponsorship Program:
- To build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial
relationships between AREA members and the military resale
supplier community.
- To enhance our Friends & Neighbors Programs.
- To assist our sponsors through our annual marketing program,
and thus aid their visibility in the AREA community.
- To ensure the continued growth and success of AREA through our
organization's activities and events.
AREA gratefully accepts merchandise and services from all
corporate sponsors for use as raffle prizes given to participants at
our annual convention. The prizes may be products manufactured
and/or distributed by the sponsor, and services suitable for a
raffle drawing.

| We place Corporate logos/ads in
the AREA Convention Souvenir booklet. Booklets are about 40
pages (5 ¼", x 8 ½ ", B&W; color front and
back cover) with a 500 copy distribution to convention
participants. |

pre/post convention marketing materials distributed
periodically throughout the year. |

Additionally, AREA recognizes all
Corporate Sponsors…
- …in the convention’s Hospitality Suite using posters
provided by the AREA or signage furnished by the Sponsor. The
Hospitality Suite is the daily meeting place for convention
participants.
- …at the convention’s Business Meeting, which AREA Board,
Committee and Chapter officials attend.
- …at the convention’s General Membership Meeting.
Friends and Neighbors Programs are discussed at this meeting,
which convention and AAFES senior management personnel attend.
Raffle ticket drawings are normally held at this meeting.
- …in the AREA Newsletter published each January, April,
July and October. AREA newsletters are about 36 pages (8
½" x 11" B&W), with a 2,600-copy distribution
worldwide. One edition highlights the convention and provides
planning information for the next year’s event. Company logos
are placed on a "Corporate Sponsor Thank You"
page.
- …at Chapter meetings and in Chapter newsletters. There are
33 AREA Chapters in the United States.
