Tina LopezWelcome to the American Indian
Employment Program. AAFES associates can benefit from
all special emphasis programs in through education and
growth opportunities dedicated to the development and
retention of talented individuals. It is our hope that
through aggressive goals and strategies all AAFES
associates have opportunity for advancement and growth.
GOAL # 1 - Expose and remove
barriers to recruitment, advancement and retention.
GOAL # 2 - Increase the
representation of American Indian Associates in the
AAFES work force at all levels.
GOAL # 3 - Increase the
awareness of American Indian culture and its
contributions to America and the world.
STRATEGIES:
1. Recruit additional American Indian associates
into the workforce in both hourly paid and management
roles.
2. Mentor American Indian associates to develop
future leaders and increase promotion potential of
those associates.
3. Advertise the various venues associates can use
to increase their promotion potential and their
contribution to AAFES.
4. Develop community relations with American Indian
groups in the community.
