WORLDWIDE Unilever of Englewood Cliffs, N.J., in cooperation with the FDA, is voluntarily recalling specific production codes of its Knorr®-Lipton® Pasta Sides Chicken—Fettuccini in a Savory Chicken Flavored Sauce- product, because it may contain undeclared milk. Hazard: People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. ITEM DESSCRIPTION: Knorr®-Lipton® Pasta Sides Chicken—Fettuccini in a Savory Chicken Flavored Sauce. 4.3 Oz pouches, UPC # 0 41000 02246 3 AFFECTED BEST BY DATE CODES: SEP11 2007, SEP12 2007, SEP13 2007, SEP14 2007 or SEP20 2007 (Marked along the left-hand seam on the back of the pouch.) SOLD THROUGH: The retail stores, club stores and dollar stores sold this item. DDDC & WCDC distributed this product to the AAFES retail stores. Incident Reported: One adverse reaction has been reported to date with respect to the above codes. The recall was initiated after the company received a consumer complaint and it was discovered that product containing milk was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk in the ingredient list on the label. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONSUMERS: Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are urged to discard it immediately and contact the company at 1-866-839-7162 for a full refund. Home
