DISTRIBUTION: WORLDWIDE Unilever of Englewood Cliffs, N.J., in cooperation with the FDA, is voluntarily issues EXPANDED RECALL AND ALLERGY ALERT on all date codes of its Knorr®-Lipton® Rice Sides Chicken—Rice & Pasta blend in a Savory Chicken Flavored Sauce 5.6 oz. pouches, because it may contain undeclared milk. Hazard: People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. Incident Reported: Two adverse reactions have been reported to date with the product. The recall was initiated after the company received a consumer complaint and it was discovered that product containing milk was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk in the ingredient list on the label.
