SUBJECT: HAZARDOUS RECALL - AAFES: Soldier Bear Brand- Invincible Transport Converters, style # 88931, UPC # 6 98567 88931 4DISTRIBUTION: WORLDWIDE The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with the Army & Air Force Exchange (AAFES), Dallas, TX is recalling the Soldier Bear brand Invincible Transport Converters, Style # 88931 activity play toy manufactured by Toy Century due to high levels of lead in the surface paints used on the toy action figures. Consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately.
Name of the Product: “Soldier Bear” Brand- Invincibles Transport Converters
Units: Approximately 2948 of which only 758 were sold
Importer: Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), Dallas, TX
Manufacturer: Toy Century Industrial Co. Ltd. Kowloon, Hong Kong
Hazard: The surface paints on the toy action figures contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Incidents/Injury: None reported.

The retail package has a Soldier Bear logo on the front and back.
The activity toy includes a military transport vehicle, motor bike, helicopter, ATV and four 4” fully functional joint INVINCIBLES action figures. The action figures have surface coated paints on them.
No other Soldier Bear Toys are involved with this recall.
SOLD EXCLUSIVELY AT: AAFES stores between August 2006 and April 2007 for about $19.95

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children. Return the recalled toy to the nearest local PX/BX AAFES stores for a full refund at the original price.
