SUBJECT: HAZARDOUS RECALL - Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) recalls Cosco® Touriva Child Car Seats for a potential strap loosening and/or slippage.DISTRIBUTION: WORLDWIDE Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) is voluntarily recalling certain Cosco® Touriva child Car Seats listed below for a potentially strap coming loose.

Hazard: Cosco® has determined that the there is a potential for the elastic straps that secure the fabric pad to the child restraint shell to come loose and become accessible to the child. The child could then loop the elastic strap around portions of his or her body. No injuries reported.
Description: The following models of Infant Car Seats affected by this recall were September 28, 2004 through September 20, 2007. The model number and date of manufacture may be found on a sticker located on the side or back of the child restraint.

Sold at: Major retailers and Catalogs. AAFES sold as many as 768 units of the ONE highlighted seat during the period Oct 2004 to March 2005 only.
Instructions for Customers: Parents and other caregivers will be encouraged to obtain and install the repair kit as soon as possible. In the meantime they may continue to use the child restraint as directed in their instruction manual.
Remedy: Supplier will contact all registered owners and provide them with a free repair kit. The consumers who have not registered their product or do not receive the repair kit can visit www.djgusa.com or call 1-888-698-6681 to order a free repair kit. Customers should not return the recalled seats to the stores.
