WORLDWIDE Bausch and Lomb in cooperation with FDA, is voluntarily recalling a limited number of production lots of ReNu MultiPlus® Multi-Purpose Solution. This action affects a limited number of product SKUs and is confined to a two-week period in March, 2006. NON-HAZARD: The following production lots are recalled because one of the raw materials used in producing these lots contained a higher than expected level of trace iron that may result in discoloration of the solution in some bottles, and may shorten the shelf-life to something less than its two-year expiration date. DESCRIPTION:
NOTE: The affected lot coded product was shipped to retailers between April 6th and June 9th 2006. The affected product can be most easily identified by the packaging as all of this product was packaged in old graphics that was an all blue background with a gold No Rub swoosh on the front. The lot number can be found on the outside of the case on the label in the upper left hand corner and on the bottom flap of each individual product carton. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CUSTOMERS: Consumers can return the recalled merchandise to AAFES store for a refund. Home
