APO/FPO Shipments via United States Postal Service

APO/FPO SHIPMENTS VIA UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE

VENDORS SHIPPING CATALOG CUSTOMER ORDERS:

Catalog customer orders that have an individuals name in the "ship to" APO / FPO address should be shipped via the United States Postal Service APO/FPO.

ALL OTHER APO/FPO SMALL PARCEL SHIPMENTS:

The USPS recently clarified their new requirements for APO/FPO shipments from AAFES vendors

FOB DESTINATION VENDORS

Can use APO/FPO without specifically addressing the package to an individual (excluding catalog customers). Ship to the APO/FPO address on the purchase order.

FOB ORIGIN VENDOR

Freight that meets APO/FPO ( small parcel ) criteria is now being routed to one of three small parcel consolidators, depending on the ship point. The "ship to" and carrier information is on the purchase order. All cases must be marked with the 7 digit AAFES facility number of the destination store and the AAFES PO number. Failure to mark cases properly will result in delays.
