Section 1 - General Provisions
1. WARRANTY (DEC 91). Contractor
warrants that:
a. The items furnished will be merchantable
and fit and sufficient for the use intended. "Seconds",
"imperfects" or "irregulars", as those terms are normally understood
in the trade, will be accepted only when specifically required in the contract. This
warranty will survive AAFES' acceptance of the items and is in addition to other
warranties of additional scope given to AAFES by the contractor. Any warranty given
by the contractor will be at least as good as the warranty offered to other agencies and
instrumentalities of the United States.
