Quality Assistance Program (SUPQAP)
Under this program, AAFES QA
specialists focus their efforts on reviewing suppliers’ quality
assurance programs through on-site quality system or inspection
system audits and identifying opportunities for improvement. For
suppliers without a quality program, AAFES QA specialists help
them install inspection and test programs.
To those suppliers who have
demonstrated an excellent quality history and who have an inspection system in place, AAFES
offers an opportunity to become a certified supplier. The
advantages of becoming a certified supplier are reduced
inspections by AAFES and the pride that comes with recognized
excellence in quality performance.
AAFES also offers the Supplier
Quality Assistance Manual (SUPQAM). It provides information on
AAFES requirements, quality management standards, and requirements
for certification.
