My AAFES is located in Osan Airbase, South Korea. At my AAFES you will be welcomed with a smiling face followed by a greeting of “Ahn Neyong Ha Seyo.” My AAFES is on a walking base conveniently located by the Chilies restaurant, the post office, a car dealership, and the library. After you have finished your shopping you can go eat at Chilies, check your mail, go buy a car or go read a book.

The photo is of the expeditionary shelter that has been serving as the Camp Gonsalves shoppette and barbershop for several years. Camp Gonsalves is located two hours from Camp Foster, and one hour from the nearest modern camp, Camp Schwab. The Camp is home to the Jungle Warfare Training Center under the operational control of the Commanding General, 3d Marine Division, and the Camp is under the cognizance of the Commanding General, Marine Corps Base, Okinawa, Japan. The shoppette is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1100 to 1500 and serves as the supply point for the camp bound JWTC instructors that serve six month tours as instructor augments.

We have been in the Army for a little over 12 years. We have moved almost every 2 years and been to a few AAFES. My husband is Chris and I am Evelyn. We have two great kids. We are stationed in Missouri and loving it. Beside the quiet place and shopping alot at AAFES, we were apart of the grand opening. So with that said it has gotten a lot better. My son who is 2 yrs old goes with me everywhere and as we shop he likes to try the goods. This place had grown since we have lived here and it has been pretty awesome and people we've met along the way at AAFES have been great and helpful.

I like to shop at the PX because here, in Germany, the stores dont have Hersheys Chocolate (what would we do without THAT?) , certain types of gum, our favorite brands of clothing, and much more. Also, at the PX there is no tax, whereas on German economy, they charge 19%!

I am a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. I served 38-years and 6-months on active duty, and have shopped in Base Exchanges, Post Exchanges, and Navy Exchanges in many different locations around the world. The exchanges I have shopped in ranged from multi-storied, department store like facilities to single-roomed exchange outlets.
My current exchange is the Westover Air Reserve Base BX in Chicopee, Massachusetts. In terms of floor space, and number of items offered, the Westover exchange is a small one. But the customer service and outgoing nature of everyone on the Westover BX staff more than makes up for its small facility size. Manager Robin Hilewitz-Brown and her staff do everything they can to make shoppers feel welcome and "at home." As a result, the shopping experience at Westover is an absolute pleasure.

Aloha! My daughter is thrilled with her purchases from the Scholfield Barracks PX in Hawaii. When arrived she discovered she forgot to pack sandals. Not only did she find some cute sandals in the exchange, but also reasonably priced souvenirs, including Macadamia Nuts, postcards, Koa wood, playing cards, and t-shirts.
