The AAFES family continues to show commitment to our customers through the Patriot Family Campaign. Just as the thoughts and prayers of those here at home are sent to those deployed, the supporting family longs to hear from our brave men and women serving away from home.
Our newest initiative is called “Back to the Homefront”. We are currently partnering with our downrange communities to create large commemorative banners, composed of OEF/OIF message from deployed men and women, written to those supporting them back home.
Once completed, the banners will be sent back to the U.S. where they will be assembled to form 10 large billboards. The billboards will tour and be displayed in AAFES Exchanges worldwide. Where possible, banners will tour the corresponding home base or installation.
